Configuring List of Values

A List of Values (LOV) in Oracle Cloud HCM provides users with a predefined list of valid options that can be selected when entering or updating data in a form or field.

LOVs help ensure data consistency, improve data entry speed, and reduce errors.

Where LOVs Are Used

In dropdown fields during employee profile creation or job requisition setup.
While configuring integrations (for example, selecting a Job ID, Department ID, etc.).
In custom extensions where Oracle Application Composer is used.
During data loading using HDL (HCM Data Loader) or spreadsheets, where reference values must match LOVs.
